Carrie Casper Carrie Casper is the Senior Director of Advancement Planning & Strategic Initiatives at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois. She joined Illinois Tech in 2008 where she began as a member of the events team; she then transitioned to manage the donor relations and stewardship group for seven years before assuming her current role where she oversees the strategy and planning initiatives for the Office of Institutional Advancement. Prior to joining Illinois Tech, Casper held positions at Lyric Opera of Chicago and Lincoln Park Zoo, focusing on volunteer management and event planning. She holds a bachelor of music education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Casper is a current board member of the Development Leadership Consortium—an organization whose mission is to mentor fundraising professionals in the Chicago area—and the University of Illinois Campus Alumni Advisory Board. She previously served as president of the Chicago Illini Club and as board chair of the Metro Board at Metropolitan Family Services. |
