The Little Bit Foundation exemplifies Mother Teresa’s words through its mission of removing barriers to learning for underprivileged children. Attendees of this year’s ADRP International Conference have the opportunity to show a “little bit” of love while making a big difference in the young lives served by the Little Bit Foundation.

Boys and girls underwear and socks
Books—picture books and chapter books—new and gently used
The Little Bit Foundation also provides hygiene kits. Please consider donating some of the hotel toiletries that are offered in your hotel room when you arrive onsite.

The greatest opportunity to end the cycle of poverty is education; but for many children in St. Louis, a number of obstacles stand in the way of achieving academic success. This is why The Little Bit Foundation exists, to break down these barriers so that children can focus on their education, develop self-confidence, and realize their dreams. The Little Bit Foundation works within the school system to provide resources and academic programs that support the performance goals of the school district and address the needs of the whole child. Children can receive basic necessities such as socks and shoes, coats, underwear, books, and school supplies. The foundation also educates children on personal hygiene, provides access to medical screenings and mental health intervention, and offers family resources so that children can go home to a nutritious meal in the evening. The organization's vision is to support students throughout their education journey, helping to ensure they graduate college or enter the military and are career-ready.
The Little Bit Foundation currently partners with 31 schools in the St. Louis area. Each school partnership requires an annual investment averaging $50,000 to $70,000. There are many ways to support the foundation and the thousands of children who benefit from their services. For these young lives, just a little bit can mean a whole lot.
